To deliver these, GreenLab Skive uses the P2X concept that stands for Power to “X” number of products called “electro-fuels”. It is a critical link in the process of utilizing cyclical sources of green energy such as wind or solar power.

The P2X concept allows converting surplus electrical energy to new hydrogen based fuels. This conversion is achieved by using electrical energy to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. Both of these elements can be applied to making clean fuels as well as applications for industrial processes. Hydrogen can be applied directly for transportation or industry. It is also a key element in fuels like methanol, methane and ammonia, all of which can be applied broadly as fuels or chemicals. The P2X concept thus makes unpredictable renewable energy more broadly applicable as a source of energy because the “electro-fuels” produced can be stored and transferred as needed while the renewable energy source increases and decreases cyclically.
